Originally inspired by the iconic Allman Brothers instrumental, the festival has long been celebrated for spontaneous musical collaborations, iconic performances, and magical late-night jams under starry Catskill skies. Mountain Jam has journeyed across various locations in the Catskills, notably commemorating its 15th anniversary at the legendary Bethel Woods Center for the Arts—the historic site of the original Woodstock Festival.
