Kingston Farmers Market
What They Are about
Since its founding in 2000, the Kingston Farmers Market has become more than just a place to shop. It has evolved to provide the community a vibrant gathering place dedicated to supporting local mid-Hudson Valley farmers, producers, and artisans, and is committed to promoting environmental and economic sustainability.
There is an abundance of fresh produce that includes local and organic offerings of fruits and vegetables, jams and jellies, plants and farm-fresh eggs. You’ll find farm-raised, grass-fed and free range meats as well as fresh seafood, and dairy products like fresh goat’s milk and a variety of gourmet and handcrafted fresh and aged cheeses. The market also features wellness products, specialty prepared foods, fresh bakery goods with artisanal organic breads and even gluten free offerings, wines, beers and spirits from local vineyards and craft breweries, and an array of plants and gifts.
The regular farmer’s market is open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wall St. between John St. and Main St. in Kingston, NY. The Kingston Winter Farmers’ Market runs every other Saturday from10am-2pm in the Old Dutch Church (272 Wall St. Kingston NY 12401).
