Hudson Valley Distillers, housed in a 100-year old red barn, is a labor of love for the Yozzo and Moyer families who founded the distillery in 2014. It’s a family and veteran-owned business on their 14-acre farm where they offer their spirits, beer, cider, and wine. The distillery offers a bourbon but focuses more on vodka, gin, and Applejack, a high proof spirit made from local apples that were popular in Colonial times and in back in fashion.

Take the 45-minute distillery tour to see how their award-winning spirits are crafted. You can relax and enjoy cocktails like a Hudson Highball, the Hudson “Apple” loose (their version of a Moscow Mule), or The Bronx, that’s made of vermouth, gin and OJ, among others at the bar or outside in the Cocktail Grove courtyard. There are also some delicious nibbles like flatbreads, bruschetta, and charcuterie and cheese that can be sampled and shared.
