At Drowned Lands they believe that in a world quickly approaching 10,000 craft brewerie, the next generation of great breweries will be the ones that best connect the drinker from the agriculture, the season, the distinct area in which the beer is brewed, to the liquid itself.

    They believe the notion of terroir, the character and flavor imparted by the environment in which it is produced, is an under-explored concept in american craft beer and one of the most interesting expressions left to be discovered.

    Drowned Lands was created to intentionally seek out these concepts, to make exceptional craft beer that expresses the native mineral profile of the water. The seasonality of the local agriculture, the imparting taste of the local microbes in their house mixed-culture, to express the "is-ness" of the land and share it with you.
